About Air Capital AMBUCS
-
National AMBUCS.
AMBUCS (American Business Clubs) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities. Founded in 1922, AMBUCS has grown into a network of volunteer-led chapters across the U.S., each focused on making a local impact. The organization is best known for providing Amtryke® adaptive tricycles to children and adults who are unable to ride traditional bikes due to physical or developmental disabilities. These trykes are therapeutic and custom-built to meet each rider’s unique needs, helping improve mobility, strength, and confidence.
AMBUCS chapters carry out a variety of community service projects, including building wheelchair ramps and hosting tryke giveaways. With its motto “Shoulders Together,” AMBUCS brings people together in a spirit of service and inclusion, making a difference one project, one person, and one tryke at a time. The organization’s work is fueled by volunteers and donors who believe in expanding access and opportunity for all. Learn more or get involved by contacting us here.
